In March 2004 the IFPA invited members of Aromatherapy Consortium to attend a meeting at IFPA HQ; the meeting was mutually beneficial and informative. Chairman Ian Smith has accepted a reciprocal invitation from the Aromatherapy Consortium to attend their next meeting.
IFPA, and we are sure AC, are hopeful these meetings will have a positive outcome for all parties and that a clearly defined way forward for the voluntary regulation of aromatherapy can be agreed.
The IFPA seek and are prepared to work with all interested parties in a way that is open and transparent, where there is tolerance of differences, and where intransigence is regarded as unacceptable by all.
